For Contributors
The India Forum welcomes articles on a range of contemporary issues. Please pitch us at articles@theindiaforum.in ahead of sending us your article.
Articles are published in the 'Featured Articles'/'Tiffin' sections or on the ‘Forum’.
(The India Forum does not publish opinion/op-ed articles. Writers are requested to send such articles to the newspapers/magazines publishing op-eds.)
Articles should be a maximum of 2500 words for the Featured Articles section. Articles on the Forum can be between 1000 and 1500 words. Submissions are reviewed internally and externally before a final decision is taken. It can take up to 4 weeks before a decision is communicated to the writer.
We unfortunately cannot immediately process time-sensitive articles, hence these are best sent to publications that can promise immediate publication.
If you would like to comment on an article we have published, please also send a letter (maximum 1000 words).
All articles must be original. We take plagiarism very seriously and will reject such articles. This includes the use of AI and related technologies in writing the piece (except for basic tasks like proofreading).
Please see these guidelines for writers.
